Statewide Food Pantry (The Grocery Store)

Available once a week for Massachusetts residents

Open 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

No appointment or ID required

Pick out what you like when you shop for fresh, nutritious produce, meats, bakery, dairy, dry goods, and frozen items as well as toiletries and other goods in our no-charge grocery store

The statewide food pantry operates like a grocery store where all items are free of charge. All you need to do is come to PJB, walk in the front door, and let us know that you would like to visit the statewide pantry (no request form needed).

We take your safety seriously so COVID-19 precautions currently limit the number of households that can browse simultaneously. However, we will also work hard to welcome you in to shop as quickly as possible.

Hopkinton Food Pantry

Available once a week to Hopkinton residents

Open 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Thursday

The Hopkinton food pantry is a full-service option for Hopkinton town residents. When you arrive at PJB, you will be provided with a list of the perishable and non-perishable groceries, produce, meats, snacks, paper goods, and cleaning supplies the pantry has to offer. Once you check off what you would like, our volunteers will pack up your order for you to pick up.

Deliveries are also available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Hopkinton residents who cannot easily get to our location. For details or to place an order call our main office (508-435-6511).

Gluten-Free Food Pantry

Available once a week to Massachusetts residents

Open 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Thursday

We are pleased to offer gluten-free food items to all residents of Massachusetts

We have a supply of certified gluten-free products available for all who need them. Come to PJB for assistance with these items. We will provide you with an order form at the door with what is available and have our volunteers pack up your selections for pick up.

Clothing

Available once a week for Massachusetts residents

Browse for clothes in our no-charge clothing store!

We have clothing in a wide range of sizes for all ages. When you visit you can peruse our racks and choose what you like best (no request form needed).

Certain items such as shoes, belts, ties, scarves, etc. may be offered subject to availability since our supply of these items fluctuates somewhat day to day. If you’re looking for something special please feel free to ask our staff when you arrive, and we’ll do our best to find what you need.

New socks, underwear, etc. may also be available upon request (see “Basic Needs” below).

211 Emergency/Domestic Abuse Program

After a natural disaster, house fire, transition from a shelter, or domestic abuse incident, PJB can help you get back on your feet by providing basic needs. Fill out 211 Emergency/Domestic Abuse Assistance Request form.

Basic necessities which are part of this program include clothing, shoes, bedding, and housewares. Other items may be available upon request.

We will call you at the number you provide when your order is ready to be picked up.

For this program, as with all our programs, your confidentiality is a top priority.

Basket of Love Program

A basket filled with basic necessities for special circumstances such as new baby, cancer treatments, and life transitions.  Fill out Basket of Love Request form.

We will call you at the number you provide when your basket is ready to be picked up.

Birthday Program

A program is for children ages 1-12 years old in which children will receive a couple of toys plus a book. A limited supply of birthday bags are available with items such as decorations, cake mix, etc. Fill out Birthday Request form.

Proof of Birth Date is required for this program 

Requests must be made within 30 days prior to birthday

We will call you at the number you provide when your birthday goodies are ready to be picked up.

Recycle Center

Come in to 109 south street and pick up anything in our recycle center.
Moving boxes of all sizes are always available. Email pjboffice@comcast.net for details.

Seasonal Programs

Valentine’s Day Program (February)

A little valentine love for children up to age 12. Fill out a Little Valentine Love Request form.

Easter Program (March/April)

Easter baskets for children up to age 12. Come to PJB, 109 South St, Hopkinton to receive Easter baskets.

Back to School Program (July-August)

New backpacks and school supplies for preschool through seniors in high school. Fill out Back to School Request form.

Keep A Family Warm Program (October-February)

Winter coats, hats & gloves, boots, snow pants and throw blankets for all ages. Come to PJB for assistance with these items (no request form needed).

Thanksgiving Program (November)

Items supplied for Thanksgiving dinner. Come to PJB for assistance with these items (no request form needed).

Holiday Program (December)

The Holiday Gift Program is for parents/guardians ONLY to complete. This program is for children up to age 17. One submission is allowed per family.
