Project Just Because, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization serving the needs of Massachusetts residents.
What We Do
We manage numerous year-long and seasonal programs that are offered to all Massachusetts residents in need. We are committed to helping the most vulnerable individuals and families. Our goal is to provide every person that walks in the door with what they need. They receive an experience that is conducted with compassion and dignity and that is respectful of culture and diversity.

We have dramatically expanded our program offerings and are serving more clients than ever. We need your financial support to continue to help these neighbors in need. Project Just Because is 100% donation-dependent, with 96% of your dollar going directly into our programming.

We accept all new items to help families in need. In addition, we accept used clothing in near perfect condition.
Donate Large Items
We cannot accept large items such as furniture, bicycles, microwaves, strollers, car seats etc. Please use our Furniture Network to offer these items to families in need.
Donate Time
Looking for things you can do to support PJB? We have service projects for individuals and groups.
We need volunteers who can commit up to 4 hours every week. Have fun and help a good cause at the same time!

Fridays in December 8:00-12:00
Saturdays in December 9:00-12:00
For our holiday program, we are only accepting current clients, Hopkinton residents, Veterns, or anyone over the age of 60.
Please note, we are not taking new clients as of August 15, 2025 unless you are a Hopkinton resident or age 60 and older. New client registrations are Thursdays between the hours of 12:30-3:30. New clients are allowed to shop on Wednesdays 12:30-6:30 and Thursdays 12:30-3:30.
Please Note – There are NO Restrooms Open to the Public On Site! Please plan accordingly.
Please note that occasionally, due to limited space or high customer volumes, there may be a wait to enter. Please be patient. We make every effort to serve clients waiting to enter, but on rare occasions we may have to close the pantry early.
Photo Identification and Proof of State Address is required. These must be recent physical documents. We cannot accept digital images displayed on your phone.
Walk-ins welcome! No appointments required.
MWRTA Route 5 has added a REQUEST-ONLY bus stop for Project Just Because. The stop will be located on South Street after the Dunkin Donuts/Hayward Street stop. Riders must call ahead for pick up at this stop 508-935-2222.
With 24 hours notice, delivery is available for Hopkinton residents on Tuesdays and Thursdays only! Call 508-435-6511 for more info!
