Our Story
Since its founding, operating out of a single Hopkinton basement more than twenty years ago, Project Just Because has constantly pushed to do more, to offer more services, to reach more families.
Project Just Because built a state-of-the-art facility, a facility that the Project will own, the home we need to expand our mission for years to come.
But we cannot do it alone.
This past year especially has exposed the depth of need in our community, and we have pushed to help meet that need.
To help a mother fleeing domestic abuse who needs new clothes, sheets, housewares, and toiletries as she works to put her life back together.
To help a laid off father across the state whose local pantries are unable to provide the fresh, nutritious, specialized food his children need.
We have expanded our services to serve over 210,000 throughout Massachusetts in 2022, with our food programs alone.
