Project Just Because, Inc. likes to do special projects for children in need year-round. Here are a few samples of projects for children your community service programs, church, school or family could help complete. This list of special programs is based on the donations we receive each year. As donations change we adapt these programs to suit our available resources.

Sponsor a Child’s Wish List (year round)

Sponsor a child's wish list. Families contact us with specific requests that you can help come true. Sometimes it’s a simple as a new pair of jeans and underwear. But to a child needing it, it’s a special wish that would be left unmet if we didn’t have it to give.

Valentines Day

We provide baskets for children in need with new underwear, new socks, new toiletries, new books and other items filled with love.

Spring Baskets of Love

We provide baskets for children in need, filled with toiletries, books and treats.

Mother’s & Father’s Day Baskets

Children receive gifts to give to their parent or parents, including bath items, toiletries, and other special items.

July 4th Baskets of Love

Includes toiletries, bathing suits, beach towels, sun block, hat.s and other summer items for children.

Back to School (August and September)

Back to school – we make sure kids have new underwear, new socks, t-shirts, toiletries, clothes and shoe gift certificates for back to school. We also fill new backpacks with grade-appropriate items for students from pre-school through high school.

Keep Warm Baskets (October)

Keep Warm baskets for children are filled with toiletries, mittens, hats and treats.

Holiday Programs (October 1st through December)

Gift certificates for food, clothes and toys. Donate a new stuffed animal or toy for kids aged newborn through teenager. Sponsor a family with an exact wish list from each child. Your items go directly to that child in need. Holiday programs include our special Hospital Program.
